Technology Integration
Technolgy integration in the classroom is no longer an option, it's a must for anyone wanting to be a part of the eduation community. Fear of technology, thats what keeps many away. From personal experience, it can be a challenge to try and "accomodate" technolgy to everyday teaching,but thats the thing it should become an extension of the lessons not extra work. When done right, technology integration can prove to be very rewarding.

I agree. When I taught computer classes at a local community center the adults in the class were fearful that the computer would explode if they pressed the wrong buttons. I would also like to add that the excuse of many is that there is not enough time for integration in the class period. Great post!
ReplyDeleteYou absolutely hit in the nail! Technology is not an option and fear should not be the cause of not using it. Like everything in life, when trying out something new, it always generates nervousness and anxiety. By putting our best effort and collaborating together we will make a difference.
